2014 Spring Pledge Drive Kick-Off Party

KKFI Spring Pledge Drive is here and why not throw a party to celebrate!
Let’s all celebrate the fact that we have a great resource in KC that supports quality local artists of all kinds, and presents news and information that would otherwise never get broadcast in the area.

9:00Scott Hrabko & The Rabbits
A beautiful and soulful expression of what has come to be called Roots or Americana. Tight harmonies, fantastic guitar picking, driving yet subtle bass lines and a little accordion for good measure. A treat to hear live.
10:00Maria The Mexican
With a new release on vinyl, CD, and digital, this band of top notch musicians will be performing a special set just for KKFI. Slightly stripped down to capture the intimate nature of their music. A don’t miss!
11:15The Hillary Watts Riot
An In your face Rock & Roll outfit with the style, vibrance, and sheer energy of a shooting star on acid. They look great, they feel better, and they sound just like you want it.

Thank You Very Much to the artists for giving of themselves for the benefit of KKFI 90.1FM. We are here to serve at the pleasure of KC and its surrounding cities. Please go to KKFI.ORG/DONATE to make certain this station has the legs to make for another 26 years.
