Big News!

Record Label Showcases this year for the first time.  We welcome The Record Machine and Money Wolf Music to curate the stages at Czar and Collection.

We at 90.1 & CMF try to cover as many genres as we can with this event to give a cross section of what is going on in the KC Music community on this very special September weekend.

As in the past you can get a wristband for the entire festival or just pay a cover to each venue if you just want to go there.

90.1 DJ’s will be MC’s for each stage and will be engaging the music community as a whole.

90.1 will be recording some of the stages for broadcast at a later time.

KCVLAA Legal Bootcamp for Musicians // Noon – 5pm

We are very happy to welcome back the Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts (KCVLAA.org) to put on our 3rd Annual Legal Bootcamp for Musicians.

This intensive bootcamp will provide attendees with knowledge on a variety of topics from copyrights, contracts, financing and business formation. Lunch will be available for purchase. You may register at the door if space is available.

5 – 45 Minute Seminars on subjects like:

  • Setting up a band agreement
  • Copyright Law
  • Licensing Agreements
  • and many other topics that young musicians need to know, but don’t know they need to know them.
