July Quarterly Meeting of KKFI Active Members
Jul 13 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

July quarterly meeting of the

KKFI Active Members.

It will be July 13, 6:30 pm, at the station annex, down the hall from the offices on the 2nd floor, 39th and Main, KCMO.  The meeting is July 13, not July 6, because the 6th is within 3 days of the 4th of July.

One agenda item will be the consideration and first reading of a bylaws change proposed by the Governance Committee, that will explicitly permit phone participation by KKFI Board members at Board meetings.  It is modeled on the Missouri statutes permitting phone attendance at governmental board meetings.  The proposed language is attached for your advance review.

President Val Andruss has notified us of the resignation of Board member Jen Zavan from the Board.  It will not be possible to elect a new Board member at the July 13 meeting because there has been less than 2 weeks’ notice of this vacancy.  Therefore, a special meeting will need to be scheduled at the July 13 meeting, to hold an election for the vacancy.

Please let Maria know of any agenda items you may have.
