Award-winning 'American Routes' Program Joins KKFI Lineup

Beginning Wednesday, October 15th, the award winning music program American Routes, returns to KC radio as 90.1 FM KKFI will begin running the show from 7:30 to 9:30 every Wednesday night. Hosted by Nick Spitzer, American Routes has been broadcast nationally for over 16 years. It seeks to educate and entertain it’s audiences with weekly explorations of the various kinds of American roots music as well as interviews and documentary features to outline the history of a performer or a musical genre. It is currently broadcast on over 195 radio stations across the country with over 400,000 listeners.
