Only inputs from another deplete-able resource – oil- are standing between us and the collapse of our “civilized” food system. Lierre Keith says we have to re-create the space for the natural conditions in which we and other creatures co-evolved – where all creatures including the microbes have a role to play in sustaining each other’s lives, and consuming each other as well.
