It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice and those that are part of an unjust system. The Criminal Justice Task Force mission is to lobby the Missouri State Legislature for sentencing laws that are fair and humane as well as basic human rights and medical care for those that are incarcerated. The Kansas City Chapter of Missourian’s For Altenatives to the Death Penalty will meet Tuesday, January 3rd from 6:30 to 8pm at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut, KCMO. Their agenda includes an update on the pending execution of Mark Christesson, outreach opportunities, a look at new legislation and legislators in Missouri and more.

Phillip Diaz was killed by an unknown assailant on December 4th of this year.
