Recorded at 6am on December 31st, at the Rime Center in Kansas City, the program will consist of religious observances from various faith traditions. Prayers for peace will be offered by each of 13 faith traditions represented on the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council.

State greetings will be given by The Honorable Dr. Charles B. Wheeler, former Missouri State Senator. Former Mayor Pro Tem Alvin Brooks will give community greetings.
