Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Arjay hosts with the first hour dedicated to the band Orphann. Their 1977 album “Up For Adoption” was remastered and released on CD in 2015. Guitarist Hugh Ruddick will be my in studio guest. The second hour will feature Tom Sorrells and Mark Prellberg playing rare and unreleased psychedelic and garage music from KC’s storied past.
