At 10:30, Lawrence based, 3-piece ethereal folk trio, The Ovaries-eez join us live in our 90.1 FM Studios. The Ovaries-eez began in 2012 by founding members, Amber Hansen and Johni Lacore and were joined by Monica George in 2013. The Ovaries-eez released their debut full length, I Saw You in My Dream, on February 6, 2016. It was recorded and mastered by John Griffin at Sound + Vision Studio at Lawrence Public Library and released on Whatever Forever. The Ovaries-eez play a special Album Release show, Friday, March 18, at 7:00 pm, at Revolution Records, 1830 Locust St, KCMO with Jametone, and Teri Quinn. At 11:00 Mark welcomes back to the show our friend Nico Gray who is a Marketing Specialist for Union Station. Nico returns as “Guest Producer” of our second hour to share music from: Loretta Lynn with Willie Nelson, Ages and Ages, Pavement, The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Bran Van 3000, Lords of Acid, Liz Phair, Jim James, Delaney and Bonnie, Johnny Cash, Baaba Maal, Gipsy Kings, and Flogging Molly.
