At 10:30, Patrick Alonzo Conway returns to share details about Gamelan Genta Kasturi‘s upcoming special performance with I Ketút Gedé Asnawa and Family, Saturday March 26, at 7:30 pm, at Quixotic School of Performing Arts, 1616 Broadway Blvd, KCMO. Patrick is Director of the community Balinese gamelan orchestra Gamelan Genta Kasturi and is also also a recipient of the Charlotte Street Foundation Generative Performing Artist Fellow Award for 2012. Gamelan Genta Kasturi was awarded Studio Space through the Charlotte Street/ Urban Culture Project Studio Residency Program from 2011-16. More information at: www.gamelangentakasturi.org

At 11:15 Mark welcomes Kansas City based singer-songwriter, Adriana Nikole who will play live in our 90.1 FM Studios. Adriana is originally from the Detroit, Michigan area and started performing and writing songs in her early 20’s. She moved to Knoxville, and then Nashville, TN, performing on the street for a few months, and then finally settled in Kansas City. Her music is rooted in Motown, 1950’s doo wop, and old school country, however she also loves to experiment with electronic music.
