At 11:30 Mark talks with Mike Alexander of the Kansas City based band Hipshot Killer who joins us for the radio broadcast premiere, of the new Hipshot Killer, B side cover, “Sky Flying By” originally recorded by influential punk band Samiam. We’ll also play the Hipshot Killer A side: “All the Hell in the World,” the fifth release from the Too Much Rock Single Series. Hipshot Killer will play live performances Saturday, October 22, at Mills Record Company, and Tuesday, October 25 at Davey’s Uptown Rambler’s Club. The Too Much Rock Singles Series is a collection of 45 rpm singles that marry great songs with great bands all for the love of vinyl. Each old-school two-song single features one unique song paired with one cover chosen by Too Much Rock who press 500 limited edition copies and then simply give them to the band.
