I’ll be doing a Classical Christmas Concert on Chamber Music next Wednesday the 2nd from 8-10pm on KKFI-90.1FM. The centerpieces will include the “comfort food” of Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols”, and the less familiar “Les Enfants a Bethleem” by Gabriel Pierne and “Three Mystical Carols” by Conrad Susa. We’ll also hear short pieces by William Walton, Peter Maxwell Davies, Kenneth Leighton, John Gardner and Andrew Smith. Christmas is a twelve day affair, after all.
