Alissia Canady, KCMO City Council, 5th District, returns to UC, to continue discussion of vital issues.
Alissia Canady represents Kansas City’s 5th District.
For the 2015-2019 council term, Mayor Sly James has appointed Canady to serve as Chairwoman of the Neighborhoods and Public Safety Committee and Vice Chair of the Ethics and Legal Review Committee. She also serves as a member of two additional committees: Housing; Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Jobs.
Alissia Canady first appeared on Urban Connections, June 20, 2015 with Ken Bacchus, then in the race with Canady, for the KCMO City Council 5th District, in District seat. They discussed current issues leading up to the KCMO Municipal General election of June 23rd.
