EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
The Alliance for Nuclear Accountability held their National Conference in Liberty, MO the first weekend in November. An all-Missouri panel spoke on Nuclear issues in the Show Me State. Ann Suellentrop and Maurice Copeland spoke about health and cleanup issues at the old Kansas City weapons plant at the Bannister Federal Complex. There were also people on hand to discuss the nuclear dump in the St. Louis area and it’s proximity to an underground landfill fire. We will hear that panel discussion.
