The waiting is nearly over for your Host of the Tasty Brew, proud Americana Music Association Member Diana Linn. Since she took to the airwaves three years ago as a volunteer programmer, Diana Linn has utilized her own resources to represent KKFI at the annual AMA high profile industry event and KKFI listeners will be the beneficiaries. Right after her show this Tuesday, she’ll be leaving for Nashville for five days of total immersion in Americana/Bluegrass/Country/Roots Music in Music City.  She will be bringing back stacks of new music for KKFI listeners to enjoy.  Tuesday’s playlist is just a fraction of the showcases she will see that will include The Wheeler Brothers, Infamous Stringdusters, The Lone Bellow, The Greencards, Over the Rhine, Della Mae, The Band of Heathens, David Bromberg, Rosanne Cash, John Fullbright, Uncle Lucius, Steep Canyon Rangers and The Departed.  This week’s playlist will also feature The Steel Wheels who have upcoming shows in the Kansas City area before they head to Walnut Valley Musical Festival (aka Winfield) and the Mavericks who just put on one of the most epic shows last week Kansas City music lovers have ever seen.
