All Souls Forum
The All Souls Unitarian Universalist Forum, Kansas City's longest ongoing conversation, has offered a platform for the discussion of significant issues since 1943.
On the current installment of All Souls Forum, Leonard Zeskind will discuss the current upsurge in “gun rights” activity, describe the Tea Party’s and various other organizations’ involvements in it, and analyze the underlying causes and motivations of this “angry white men” phenomenon.
An internationally-recognized authority of racism, anti-Semitism, and far-right social movements, Mr. Zeskind is president of the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights and the author of Blood and Politics: The History of the White Nationalist Movement from the Margins to the Mainstream (FGS, 2009).
