In the only event of its kind in the Kansas City community, over 30 of Kansas City’s favorite solo artists, duos and full bands will come together to support KKFI 90.1 FM Kansas City Community Radio on November 17th, 18th and 19th by appearing on KKFI’s on-air music festival while listeners call in to bid on donated two-hour performances by the musicians currently on air.
NEED A BAND???
KKFI 90.1 presents the Stockyards Brewing Co. Fall Band Auction, an on-air music festival when over 30 solo acts, duos, and full bands will audition for a two-hour concert just for you over three music-packed days.
Participating Band Auction acts will appear live in KKFI’s studio on Friday, November 17 from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday, November 18 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm; and Sunday November 19 from 8:00 AM – 6:00 pm while listeners call 888.931.0901 to bid during the scheduled 30 minutes that each act is showcased on KKFI. The highest bidder wins a two-hour concert that’s been donated by the musicians

HOW IT WORKS
• Artists sign up to donate a two-hour concert to be auctioned to the highest bidder during KKFI 90.1 FM’s annual Band Auction.
o Solo Artists, Duos, & Bands All Welcome!
• We schedule each act for 30 minutes On-Air during the Band Auction.
• During that 30 minutes, listeners call in and bid.
• High bidder works with the band or solo act to arrange for a two-hour gig sometime during the next 12 months.
o This could be a birthday party, anniversary, block party, class reunion, or just for the heck of it party.
ADVANCE BIDDING
We do accept advance bidding. If you wish to bid on a band but it occurs at a time that you are unable to listen or call, you can make an advance bid. Simply email our Development Director at KKFI ([email protected]) and/or call (888) 931-0901 to let us know your bid. KKFI will start the bidding at that point on the band of your choice

MINIMUM BIDS & MAJOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
Minimum bids may vary depending on the act, but generally the bidding starts at $150 for solo acts and $250 for bands.
All major credit/debit cards — MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express — are accepted for payment on a bid.

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the annual Holiday Open House and Sale at Belger Crane Yard Studios has become synonymous with finding handmade gifts while exploring the artists’ studios as the holidays approach.
On Friday, November 17th from 10am-8pm, enjoy refreshments and entertainment in a festive but relaxing holiday shopping experience filled with functional and decorative ceramics and jewelry made by Studio Members and Resident Artists. Artwork will be available for purchase in a variety of styles and prices. The Holiday Preview continues Saturday, November 18th from 10am-4pm with demonstrations and opportunities to meet the artists.
