Sarah and Colin Walsh are co-creators of Tigersheep Friends, a husband and wife illustration duo that love to create fun and quirky products like art prints, enamel pins, tote bags, pillows and T-shirts. Reveling in the weird, listening to music, drinking coffee, people watching, eating tacos and pa rtaking in kung fu pillow fight dance parties gives them the special blend of energy it takes to make the kind of art they feel proud of. They hope to be a positive force in the world with their art! www.etsy.com/shop/Tigersheepfriends

Sarah Preu of Wild Wash Soap and Wildcraft Co.- We started making natural soap and skin care products because most of the products available in stores contain ingredients we don’t want to put on our skin or into the environment. Ingredients like triclosan, parabens, phthalates, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and fragrance oils are just a few of the commonly used synthetic chemicals that we think are of health and environmental concern. Most other soaps also contain palm oil. While palm oil is a natural ingredient, the way it is harvested contributes to deforestation, habit loss and carbon emissions, which is why we choose not to use it.
Our products are made with high quality plant oils and therapeutic grade essential oils. You will never find any fragrance oils, palm oil, or synthetic chemicals in our product.
Wild Wash Soap Co. is a small batch soap and skin care company established in 2014 in Kansas City, MO owned and operated by Sarah Preu.

Jennifer Bricker-Pugh-Jennifer is an Abstract Expressionist painter known for her vibrant and ethereal work.
She grew up in the small, artsy town of Lucas, Kansas. Lucas is quite the inspiration for Jennifer, as the arts, specifically, ‘Grassroots’, art is widely prevalent and played a large roll in her pursuit to become a professional artist.
With the use of bright, bold color, texture and references to nature, she paints pieces that allow her to share stories largely inspired by her surroundings. These stories share one common thread…happiness. Happiness is woven through all of her work and flows across the canvas just like the brightly colored paint she uses. It is important for Jennifer to pay homage to the simple beauty of everyday life and share her joy for life itself. Her work has been featured in several publications and is in many private and corporate collections both locally and nationally including Bishop-McCann,Waddell & Reed and University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Jennifer Martin is a Kansas City native with a global resume. Her first love affair with traveling developed during a semester in Italy, where she documented her adventures on a travel blog. Upon graduating from Xavier University, Jennifer worked her way around the world, blogging each step of the way. The nomadic lifestyle left her broke and exhausted, ultimately directing her back to Kansas City to pursue a life of normalcy. Between the trips, the jobs and all the men she has vetted through dating apps, Jennifer falls back on the one love she can take anywhere in the world, her writing. Jennifer has pivoted from travel blogging to poetry since returning to the Midwest, focusing on the hardships of heartbreak, addiction, and finding one’s purpose.

A sneak peek into her first book, Emotionally Bankrupt, will be read at the Uptown Arts Bar on Monday, November 26th, from 7-9pm.
