Join us for a wonderful evening of conversation with Deborah Shouse and Ron Zoglin.

Deborah Shouse writes the Love Stories column for the Kansas City Star and co-facilitates the Kansas City Writer’s Group. Her writings have appeared in the Washington Post, Family Circle, Reader’s Digest, Woman’s Day Magazine, Newsweek, and other periodicals. Deborah is the author of Love in the Land of Dementia: Finding Hope in the Caregiver’s Journey. Using her original self-published book as a catalyst, she and Ron Zoglin raised more than $ 80,000.00 for Alzheimer’s programs and research. Last November, Central Recovery Press published an updated edition of the book. The book was a finalist in this year’s Thorpe Menn Literary Excellence Award.
Ron Zoglin is a professional storyteller who has performed for businesses, universities, and national and international conferences. Ron is also an antique dealer and appraiser and the owner of Brookside Antiques. He is the voice on the audiotapes, Even Mystics have Bills to Pay and The Adventures of the Little Green Dragon. Along with Deborah, he has traveled the world sharing stories with audiences in Turkey, Costa Rica, Chile, Ireland, England, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the United States and more.
