CEO/President Paul Schofer with the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts talks about Celebrating diversity in the arts, the one-day festival invites youth and families to experience a diverse range of performances and interactive arts activities. Future Stages Festival is a FREE community event that showcases youth in the performing arts and is an extension of the Kauffman Center’s Open Doors “Spotlight on Youth” program. Last years festival featured 29 performing arts organizations and 10 interactive arts activity partners. This festival is fun for ALL ages! Aaron Shipps joins us live in the studio to discuss Bedrock Art Editions. Bedrock Art Editions is a professional collaborative print shop devoted to the traditional methods of printmaking, utilizing innovative processes to solve contemporary printmaking needs. Owned and operated by Tamarind Master Printer Aaron Shipps, Bedrock publishes new works by contemporary artists, also offering contract printing services to artists of all practices in the mediums of lithography, woodcut, and monotype.
