ARTSPEAK RADIO presents, Making Movies, Doug “Nightlife Jones” Rosenbrook, & Adam Finkelston

MAKING MOVIES makes music that matters. Built upon a heavy foundation of Afro-Latino rhythms, they have created a bilingual (English and Spanish), psychedelic re-envisioning of the Latin American “son.”
The band consists of four members: Enrique Chi (guitar/vocals), Juan-Carlos Chaurand (percussion/keyboard), Brendan Culp (drums) and Diego Chi (bass).

Making Movies has shared the stage with the likes of Los Lobos, Tennis, Ozomatli, Aterciopelados, Neon Indian, Delta Spirit, and Mariachi El Bronx among others.

Making Movies performs for the final & sold out event at record bar, 1020 Westport Rd. KCMO, Saturday January 2- with Your Friend.
The recordBar in Westport, will be closing due to the expiration of the lease. The landlord of the building “has decided he doesn’t want a bar or restaurant in that particular space,” Mr. Steve Tulipana, owner of the recordBar, said. According to Mr. Tulipana, the bar is looking to move to a different venue but has not found a place as of yet.

We just want to make enough money to make the next issue and offer artists better incentives to work with us on limited edition and special offer original artworks. We appreciate your support! Long life to The Hand!
