ARTSPEAK RADIO is a live radio program on KKFI that airs every Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Host Maria Vasquez Boyd serves up information about the visual and literary arts community including live interviews with artists, writers, and performers.
The Urban Culture Project’s facilitator Patrick Alexander, along with second year residents Madeline Gallucci and Eric Dobbins, will be guests on Artspeak Radio. Host: Blair Schulman.
Urban Culture Projects Open Studios weekend is scheduled for April 25-26 and includes live music, dance, theatre, comedy improv, and cross-disciplinary performances, special sales, temporary installations, participatory activities, artist talks, and more, highlighting the work of 22 visual artists, and 9 performing artists/ensembles awarded free studios for year-long terms through Charlotte Street’s competitive Urban Culture Project Studio Residency Program.
All events are free and open to the public.
