This week on Sprouts, we present an interview with Dr. Tyrone Hayes. He is an an American biologist, and professor of Integrated Biology at the University of California near Berkeley and is known for his research findings that the herbicide Atrazine is an endocrine disruptor that emasculates and feminizes male frogs. He is also an advocate for critical review and regulation of pesticides and other chemicals that may cause adverse health effects. He faced opposition from the company Syngenta.
