Diana Linn will wrap up some of her favorite 2013 releases in Americana/Bluegrass/Country/Roots Music with this week’s New Year’s Eve Edition of the Tasty Brew. Included will be extraordinary tunes from veteran Robbie Fulks, the reincarnated Mavericks, Louisiana’s Mary Gauthier, the Godfather of Americana Jim Lauderdale, newbies and freakishly talented The Milk Carton Kids, groovy Donna the Buffalo, reborn Jason Isbell, multi-instrumentalist Tim O’Brien, songwriter Darrell Scott, pretend boyfriend Rodney Crowell, Grifter Ray Wylie Hubbard and many more. It has been a spectacular run of Americana musical output in 2013; judging from the advance word Diana Linn has on new releases coming down the road, 2014 will be another exceptional year.
