BettySoo

Our guest this week on Art of the Song is Austin, Texas singer/songwriter, BettySoo. During the five years since her last album of original material, BettySoo zigzagged her way across the North American and European continents more than a few times. An insomniac and someone who understands depression from her own life-long struggle, her songs capture moments of grief, loneliness, and loss, contrasted with moments of joy and love.
We visited with BettySoo in front of a live audience at the Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah, Oklahoma. In the second half of the show we’ll hear from Dr. Shelley Carson with an essay on the Envision Brainset for the creativity corner.
