Birthday Jamboree Week on the Tasty Brew

Diana Linn’s birthday is this week and the jamboree starts at 6 am this Tuesday with some of the best in Americana/Bluegrass/Country/Roots music.  Featured artists are Texas songbirds Stephanie Urbina Jones and Courtney Patton who both return to Kansas this week for shows.  Stephanie Urbina Jones was born in a bi-cultural home in San Antonio, Texas where she grew up hearing music from both sides of the border. Her tapestry of music includes influences from country rock to Latin Blues-Pop.  Fort Worth girl Courtney Patton has an expansive voice, laced with deep Texas twang but bearing the influence of favorite songwriters from the ‘70s folk-rock scene all the way through the present day, giving new life to old themes of finding love and freedom where you can and trying to hold yourself together when it slips away.  Many other artists from Cory Morrow to Wade Bowen to Jason Isbell will also guarantee a great start to your day!
