“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
It is absolutely imperative that you exercise your privilege as an American citizen and vote November 6, but only AFTER you’ve tuned in to this somewhat self indulgent and egocentric edition of The Tasty Brew (aren’t they all you might ask?). It’s Diana Linn’s birthday Tuesday and she will share some of the most personal music that literally informs who she is to her core musically. Sharing this birthday are Guy Clark, Doug Sahm and Glenn Frey so they’ll be on the list. Caution to strictly follow the Americana genres will be curbed for this week but this is community radio and we get to color outside the lines.
