Coleen Rowley visits Tell Somebody!

Since 9-11, truth tellers, most recently Edward Snowden, have risked their lives to disclose wrongful conduct. As George Orwell put it, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” How and why do social science-established groups think and psychopathy align, especially during times of war, to suppress the truth?! On this week’s installment of Tell Somebody,  9-11 whistleblower Coleen Rowley speaks on ethical decision-making & intelligence ethics, describing the biggest factors accounting for otherwise good people falling into this “banality of evil.”
Rowley will be in town to speak at the All Souls Forum on Sunday, September 14.
Coleen Rowley is a former FBI Special Agent and Chief Division Counsel in the Minneapolis FBI office who testified before Congress about the FBI’s failure to help prevent the 9/11 attacks and, along with two corporate whistleblowers, was named Time Person of the Year in 2002.
