A locally produced program where activist groups in the Kansas City area present interviews, commentary, editorials, and other thought provoking content on a weekly basis.
RadioActive Magazine features The Kansas City Anti–Violence Project (KCAVP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to providing domestic violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes advocacy and education to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community. RadioActive interviews Executive Director Justin Shaw, Outreach Advocate Jorge Basaure, and KCAVP Board Member Sarah Reape.
On the same program, Danielle Foster, a Lincoln College Prep student and March For Our Lives organizer, will talk about her school walk out and her support for the March For Our Lives rally on March 24th and Ann Suellentrop will speak about her long time anti-nuke activism. These two speakers were recorded at the Greater Kansas City Justice Coalition Women Demanding Justice Community forum on March 20th.
