This week on the Thursday Night Special, we feature an episode in a running series called Conversations on Health Care, a radio show about the opportunities for reform and innovation in the health care system. In addition to health care headlines, the centerpiece of each show is a feature story and conversation with an innovator in the delivery of care from around the globe. Tonight, Mark Masselli and Margaret Flinter speak with Cathy Schoen, Sr. VP of the Commonwealth Fund which is dedicated to promoting a high-performing health care system. Ms. Schoen discusses her recent study comparing the health insurance systems of 11 wealthy nations, including the US, and the varied levels of cost, complexity and health care experience among them.

Later, at 7:30, we’ll feature another episode of radio theatre from our own Shots In The Night, who will present their holiday special.
