Jaws of Justice Radio
It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. We want to put a human face on those caught in the grasp of injustice and those that are part of an unjust system. We strive to dispel the misconceptions created by the news and entertainment industry, politicians and our educational system.
On this edition of Jaws of Justice Radio, host Melvin Merritt talks with Darren Brown about his childhood, his drug dealing, incarceration and redemption. Darren Brown spent much of his childhood trying to protect and provide for his brother and sister. This led him to dealing drugs at a young age, a profession he followed up to the point when he was arrested and convicted for his crimes. It was the love and support of Darren’s wife Tonya and children as well as an awakening to Christ that turned his life around. Darrin now works with children at the Christian Daycare he and his wife own as well as at Success Academy at Anderson here in Kansas City.

The Hilltop Saddle Club’s 23rd Annual Rodeo will be August 23rd and 24th at Benjamin Stables, 6401 East 87th Street, KCMO. The fun starts at 7PM both nights. The TEDxYouth@StateLineRoad Event will be held on September 7, 2013 at the Truman Forum Auditorium in the Plaza Branch of the KC Public Library. In order to attend this event, we are asking each attendee to contribute to the experience by sharing about their summer volunteer service experiences.
