Our guest this week on Art of the Song is Israeli Singer/Songwriter, David Broza. His charismatic and energetic performances have brought to worldwide audiences a fusion of the three different countries in which he was raised: Israel, Spain and England. When we sat down with David he was just finishing up his peace project, East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem, in which he, with producer Steve Earl, brought together Israeli and Palestinian artists, musicians, film crews and chefs in an epic 8 day convergence of artistic expression and peace, focused on breaking down the cultural walls that separate us. We talked with David about the CD, the two documentaries, and social programs that all spurred from his project.
