Demoting Venus

Millions of female figurines have been found by archaeologists, spanning some 40,000 years. Some say they are sex symbols, some say they are realistic portraits of ancient women. Dr. Annine van der Meer‘s views are more complex and incorporate cross-disciplinary research findings.
