Do THEY Really Want To Take YOUR Guns Away? What Do Anti-Gun Violence Groups Really Want?

We have been told for years that he Democrats and President Obama wants to take our guns away even though in seven years the only thing he has done is strengthen enforcement of laws already on the books. Are there sensible actions we can take to curb gun violence? What is being proposed besides arming everyone? Are we safer in the old west than we are today? Are we less safe on our streets and in our homes than we were 20, 30 or 40 years ago? Why has the gun rights folks blocked any research into this whole issue?

Host Jeff Humfeld is joined by Dr Rex Archer, Director of the KCMO Health Department, Judy Sherry of Grandparents Against Gun Violence and Loren Stanton of the NE Kansas chapter of the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence. They will talk about who is dying from guns, the need for more research and what they are doing to enact common sense legislation that still protects the rights of law abiding citizens. Then in the second half of the show we will open the phone lines for your questions and comments.
