Don Was

This week, we’re proud to present a special edition of Art of the Song recorded live at the Berklee College of Music featuring producer, songwriter, Don Was. If you love Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt and the Rolling Stones, you are by default a fan of his work as a producer. Primarily a bass player, Was led the 1980s funk-rock band Was (Not Was). More recently he produced songs and albums for a large number of popular recording artists. In 2012, he became president of jazz music label Blue Note Records.
