Every Woman

Join us this week as we welcome G. G. Owens. She’s a speaker, activist, mother, grandmother and well known for her work in helping people get jobs. She works with the construction industry and she’s also the president of the Kansas City’s Land Bank board of advisors, a volunteer board established in 2012 to help address the City’s growing number of vacant and abandoned properties. Since then, Land Bank has helped more than 500 homeowners find properties for rehabilitation and occupancy.
