Fall: It’s a Noun and a Verb

Yes, I know it’s Halloween Week and Day of the Dead is coming, but enough already with the scary songs, movies, tv shows and costume parties for weeks ahead of the trick or treat extravaganza. These days, Kansas City seems to go more all out decorating for Halloween than Christmas; we’re such a Band of Heathens. It is Autumn…your host of the Tasty Brew’s  favorite time of the year.  This week’s show will be showcasing Fall both as a noun, i.e. the season when the leaves fall from the trees and as a verb as in to descend freely by the force of gravity or to drop oneself into a lower position i. e. fall in love. From Eva Cassidy’s ethereal rendition of Autumn Leaves to Alejandro Escoveda’s Fall Apart with You to Lindi Ortega’s Fall Down or Fly and many songs in between, get your Free Fall on with me this Tuesday morning from 6 – 8 a.m. on the Tasty Brew Edition of Your Tuesday Morning Buzz.
