This afternoon on WINGS, feminist economics professor Joyce P. Jacobsen describes feminist economics and talks about the campaign to get Janet Yellen nominated as chair of the US Federal Reserve Bank.

Dr. Joyce P. Jacobsen is Andrews Professor of Economics at Wesleyan University. She has published mainly in the area of labor economics, including articles on sex segregation, migration, and the effects of labor force intermittency on women’s earnings, and is author of the textbook The Economics of Gender.
