Google Fiber and The Digital Divide

On this Tuesday’s Tell Somebody, we’ll have a conversation with Michael Liimatta, president and co-founder of the KCK non-profit organization Connecting for Good, about the organization’s efforts to bridge the gap between the latest high-speed internet connections and those in our community in need of them.

Connecting for Good, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2011. It works as a wireless ISP, providing low-income families and nonprofit organizations with free and affordable in-home Internet access via WiFi mesh networks, builds community computer labs and offers technology assistance, low-cost refurbished PCs and digital life skills classes.
