Should a sentence to prison mean your forfeit your right to healthcare? Do we have a responsibility to treat not just mental illness or addiction of our incarcerated? More importantly as the prison population ages what is our responsibility towards those with chronic diseases like diabetes or high blood pressure and communicable diseases such as hepatitis and tuberculosis.
