Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
My guests will be the Heather Newman Band and Mark Montgomery (solo winner), the recent winners of the KC Blues Challenge at Knuckleheads. These two blues acts will represent KC in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis early in 2019. We’ll hear their music (some of it LIVE!) and discuss the musical careers. Join us!
