In the first hour we revisit a show from August 7th and listen to Amado Espinoza and Karen Lisondra play Dohol, Ney, Charanga and bag pipes made from household items such as a brooms stick, crayola markers, vacuum tube and X-ray sheets!

In the second hour we explore empowerment through music. Rappers Fr33man and Scott SK Miller share their bilingual rhymes about their experiences as hyphenate Americans, immigrating to and growing up in Kansas City…empowerment and cultural navigation through hip hop music!
