EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
On this week’s edition of EcoRadio KC, host Richard Mabion is pleased to welcome local environmental advocate Margaret May, member of NEJAC (National Environmental Justice Advisory Council), a federal advisory committee to the EPA. The Council provides advice and recommendations about broad, cross-cutting issues related to environmental justice, from all stakeholders involved in the environmental justice dialogue. In addition, the NEJAC provides a valuable forum for discussions about integrating environmental justice with other EPA priorities and initiatives.
