Tell Somebody
"Tell Somebody" is a locally-produced weekly public affairs program on the air on KKFI since September 2005. Tell Somebody strives to provide in-depth coverage of international, national and local issues on important issues and viewpoints often ignored or distorted in the corporate media.
On Friday, an investigative reporting series called “Irradiated,” about sick and dying workers in the nuclear weapons industry around the country was released online by McClatchy News, followed by a Sunday front page story in the Kansas City Star headlined “Nuclear legacy trails KC Workers” and “A review finds that more radioactive material was used at the Bannister Road weapons plant than had been known.”
This week on Tell Somebody, Tom Klammer talks to Lindsay Wise of McClatchy’s Washington Bureau, about the Star article and the “Irradiated” series.
