Is There A Link Between Violence In Prison and Violence On The Street?

Violence Behind Bars and On The Block

On this edition of Jaws of Justice Radio we talk with formerly incarcerated citizens about violence behind bars and the mindset one develops to survive. We will also talk about what happens when someone with that prison survival mindset returns to society. Is there a difference between the violence perpetrated by guards and the violence we see from our local police? What goes through the mind of the formerly incarcerated when they are stopped by the police?

Host Jeff Humfeld is joined by JoJR’s own Keith Brown El and Al Bey to talk about the difference between what they experienced on the cell block and their experiences in their own neighborhood. Then we open the phone lines for your calls.
