Japan’s Debt to “Comfort Women”

This program excerpts testimony and judgments in the December 2000 Women’s International Tribunal on Japan’s Military Sexual Slavery. As of 2015 the Japanese government has still largely evaded responsibility for destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of women and girls. Ten Korean survivors over 80 are suing Japan.
