Brandon Ellington – Kick Starting Responsibility In The Hood

Missouri State Representative Brandon Ellington is home for the summer and into the fall but he is not on vacation. Every Wednesday he holds meetings with citizens to plan how to deal with the drugs, violence and poverty in his district. This is an exercise in democracy and all about action not talk.

Their guest speaker will be Samantha Ruggles, Operations Manager for the Kansas City Center for Inclusion. She will talk about her organization, and what we can do to make certain that LGBTQI rights are protected and honored. Refreshments will be provided.
