The Tasty Brew
“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Israeli singer/songwriter/guitarist and International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalist Bat-or Kalo will be Diana Linn’s in studio guest. Kalo left Israel in 2009, now resides in Oklahoma City and although classically trained, is immersing herself in American Roots Music. Her band now embodies heartfelt rock and roll with smoky vocals and infection rhythms. In the past two years, Kalo has opened up for Andy Frasco, Mr. Sipp and John Mayall.
Also featured on Tuesday’s show will be local artists appearing at The Crossroads Music Festival Kelley Hunt, Brody Buster, and Ivory Black. The 12 Annual Crossroads Music Festival will be September 10 at multiple venues with over 35 bands. The countdown to Americanafest 2016 in Nashville begins with music from Jack Ingram, The Honeycutters, Andrew Combs, James McMurtry, Jason Eady and many, many more.
