“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
After a very successful CD Release Party this past weekend at The Wire in her hometown of Chicago, Lauren Anderson, currently based in Kansas City, is all set to celebrate the Kansas City release of “Truly Me” at Knuckleheads this Thursday, August 27th. Tune in for a sample of what to expect at the show as well as other great Roots artists appearing in Kansas City this week like Kayla Ray from Texas, and Kansas artists Sky Smeed and Truckstop Honeymoon. Included in this week’s Tasty Brew will be everything from The Hillbenders to Bruce Springsteen to Jason Isbell to Kasey Chambers.
