Leagues of Women Voters in Greater Kansas City

Representatives of two local chapters of the League of Women Voters will describe their programs for 2018:  Evelyn Maddox, a co-president of the LWV of  Kansas City, MO, Jackson, Clay, and Platte Counties, will discuss their program.  Donna Lauffer and Sandi Sanchez, co-presidents of the LWV of Johnson County, KS, will describe theirs.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan civic organization to help women take a larger role in public affairs.  They accept male members and guests who want to help support their civic agenda.  It was founded in 1920, shortly before the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote in the US.
The interview was conducted by Susan Sarachek with assistance from Spencer Graves.
