Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Nique Poetry is Kansas and Missouri’s Premier Spoken Word platform, whose mission is to actively recruit the most powerful and expressive voices in the scene, and bring them together to showcase the “Best of Poetry Slams”. On March 10th, seven of the most recognizable names in the Greater Kansas City Area will perform an exclusive, Spoken Word showcase for 90.1 KKFI, with special “poet-core” musical group The Turing Test!
